What does it mean to be blessed by God and to find our joy and satisfaction in Him? The world has many ideas on how we can be happy, blessed, and satisfied. The beatitudes however show us how we can experience and live in the soul satisfying joy of Christ.

The Christian life is full of victory, defeat, joy, and sorrow. This was certainly true of David, and 1 Samuel gives us a picture of how to follow God faithfully in every season of life, and points us to the true and great king, Jesus.

As we behold the flawless character of Christ, whose life perfectly displayed love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Through biblical exploration and practical application, we will see that genuine Christian growth is not achieved by human effort alone but through union with Christ and the transforming work of the Holy Spirit. We will look at practical ways The Fruit of the Spirit is demonstrated in the our lives as Christ followers.
